About

First, the usual stuff. My name is Catarina, my friends call me Cata, for now you can call me Catarina, and I am 24 years old. I'm Portuguese despite the fact that I've never lived there. I was born in England, but my family moved to Miami, Florida when I was 5 months old where we lived for 9 years. In 2006 we moved to Madrid, Spain, in that moment I thought my life was over, but it is now my favourite city. After graduating from the American School of Madrid in 2015, I started my bachelors degree in advertising at Boston University, which I have recently completed. Wuhu! 

Now onto the more exciting stuff. Passion comes in many forms, and for me, I find it in design. I know, cheesy. For as long as I can remember I’ve needed a creative outlet. Whether in painting, drawing, singing, photography, graphic design, etc, you get the picture. Because of this, plus the fact that I was convinced I was extremely talented, I wanted to be a famous painter when I grew up. I did some growing, made a more informed decision and decided to go into advertising instead. Well kind of, any sort of graphic design floats my boat. And thats where I am at for now.

Other things you should know:

• I will forever be afraid of the dark

• I don’t consider myself a writer, but I am very willing to improve, please still hire me

• Despite how much I already have, I don’t love writing about myself, who knew

• I recently won an award, not to brag, but thats a picture of me when I won it 

• For about 10 years I made the same wish on my birthday and it came true

• The wish was to be able to breath underwater, I have a scuba diving license (loophole)

• With this scuba diving license I am fully willing and prepared to live underwater

• And finally, in case you couldn't already tell, I have a serious obsession with the ocean.

There is more I could say, but as I previously stated, writing about myself is not my cup of tea, so for now, that's all folks.
